There's nothing like pluging in headfirst if you enjoy high-adrenaline sports such as sky-diving.This is just what this group of 108 daredevils did as they set about breaking a record in the skies above america. Hitting speeds of up to 180mph after they jumped from 18,000ft, they had 40 second of freefall to find each other and complete their formation. Once complete, it was largest number of find skydivers to link up while falling headfirst.
Asin, the sizzling hot southern babe who made her super bollywood debut opposite Aamir Khan in ‘Ghajini’ and stars in Salman Khan’s ‘London Dreams’, has denied that she rejected the offer to work opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
Asin has clarified that director Farah Khan never came to her with a film opposite Shah Rukh Khan and so there was no question of denying the same. In fact, Farah Khan, who Asin claims as her friend, was more furious at the thought of being rejected by any actress. The ‘Om Shanti Om’ director went on slamming the talk of ‘Happy New Year’ rejection by saying that no heroine in bollywood had the guts to refuse her film, and that too when it starred King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan.
In fact, Farah says that she had yet to complete the scripting stage of the film and till its completion, she could not even think of casting anyone, except Shah Rukh Khan.
It may be recalled that the industry has been abuzz with the talk of Asin rejecting Shah Rukh Khan’s film due to her proximity with Salman Khan, with whom she has been working in Vipul Shah’s upcoming flick ‘London Dreams.’
It was being conjectured that Salman Khan did not want Asin to work with his enemies, especially Shah Rukh Khan. The rumor got more credence from the fact that Salman had in the past prevented his brothers and beau Katrina Kaif from keeping any relationship with Shah Rukh Khan.
nother theory doing the rounds in the industry is that Salman Khan induced Asin not to work with Shah Rukh Khan through Aamir Khan, who was Asin’s first hero in bollywood. Sallubhai knew that Asin would not say no to Aamir. And it’s a well known fact that Aamir Khan and Salman Khan have been bonding great time for the last few months.
‘Happy New Year’ is one of the most ambitious flicks of Farah Khan and she has decided to make it with Shah Rukh Khan even before his own home production ‘Ra.1’ goes on the floor. Shah Rukh decided to postpone shooting of ‘Ra.1’, as it needed high- pitched action sequences from him, and he was still not fit for doing those action sequences due to his shoulder injury that he sustained during the shoot of Vivek Vaswani’s ‘Dulha Mil Gaya’
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan says that actress Preity Zinta, who has done an item number in his upcoming film 'Mr and Mrs Khanna' is his favourite co-star.
The actor, whose last film 'Wanted' has been a box Office hit, revealed his fondness for Preity, whom he described as a blunt but happy person, on an episode of 'Dus Ka Dum'.
When the guest stars of Himesh Resahmiyya starrer 'Radio' Shehnaz Treasurywala and Sonal Sehgal pinned him down to name his favorite heroine, he took his own time before answering.
While the audience waited Salman grinned and said, "Preity Zinta. I love her bluntness, her jovial nature, her positive thinking. I like her happy personality."
Salman and Preity have worked together in a couple of movies including 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke'. However, their last two films 'Jaan-e-man' and 'Heroes' flopped at the box office.

Lara Dutta, who has become the latest bikini babe of Bollywood with ‘Blue’, says that she overcame her hydrophobia by shooting for the under water action flick.
The 31-year-old actress will be seen doing underwater stunts with Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Dutt in the film. They were sent to Ko Samui (Thailand) to become certified divers.
“You would not believe but I was a hydrophobic earlier but after Blue I can proudly say that I am certified diver now which is a huge achievement for me,” Lara said.
The actress, whose svelte figure in the film has become the talk of the town, had to go through a rigorous training to learn swimming and scuba diving for the film which is being touted as Bollywood’s first underwater movie.
“’Blue’ is a completely different film where I’ve had a few action scenes too,” the actress says about her role in the movie.
Directed by Anthony D’Souza, the film boasts of a formidable cast that includes Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Katrina Kaif and a song-appearance by Kylie Minogue.
“Sanjay Dutt is a great actor and I liked working with him as well. We’ve shot the movie underwater, I think the audience will like the film,” said Lara, who is paired opposite Dutt in the film.

After working with Aamir Khan in her Bollywood debut ‘Ghajini’, southern beauty Asin will now be seen with Salman Khan in ‘London Dreams’. She says while the two superstars are very similar as people, their working styles are poles apart
"As people, there are a lot of similarities between Aamir and Salman. Both are extremely warm, very friendly and down to earth. Not at all pretentious," Asin told IANS over telephone from Mumbai.
"As actors their working styles are quite different. Like for example when Aamir used to come on the sets to shoot, he used to sit with the cast and crew and used to discuss the scene, give his ideas and his inputs; he used to be quite involved," the 23-year-old said.
"On the other hand, Salman used to come on the sets, shoot for the scene and leave. There used to be no give and take of ideas; so it used to seem very spontaneous. However, I am sure in his mind he must be knowing exactly what he has to do and how he has to do it," she added.
The actress, who was brought up in Kerala and debuted in Sathyan Anthikad's Malayalam film "Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka" in 2001, created a mark in the Hindi film industry with "Ghajini" in 2008.
She is ready with her second Bollywood venture "London Dreams" that stars Ajay Devgan along with Salman.
Asked if she was nervous being in the same frame as two such experienced actors, Asin said she neither felt nervous nor intimidated.
"When I go on the sets, I forget all my inhibitions. When I was working with Ajay and Salman, I didn't feel any pressure, maybe because they themselves did not behave like stars and threw no starry tantrums.
"When you work with such dedicated actors, you also do your job well and try to learn whatever you can. But there was no intimidation... I was not scared or anything to work with them. They are experienced but also make you feel very comfortable," Asin said.
"London Dreams", slated to release Oct 30, tells the story of two childhood friends who dream about making it big in the music industry and start a band. Asin, who is a dancer in the band, is the love interest of both friends.
So what made her sign the film?
"When the film was offered to me, I was keen to do it because I had worked with a star like Aamir in my first Hindi venture and in this one, there were two stars; so that was a 'double dhamaka' .
"Apart from that I loved my character Priya, which is quite different from my earlier role, and also a filmmaker like Vipul Shah is making the film. All these factors made me say yes," Asin said

Mumbai, Oct 1 (IANS) Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja, behind the bars for more than three months after his maid accused him of rape, finally got bail Thursday.
The Bombay High Court granted bail to Shiney on a surety of Rs.50,000, his lawyer Shirish Gupte said.
“There is no clear evidence that Shiney had raped his maid,” he maintained.
The actor will be required to live in New Delhi and refrain from tampering with evidence in any manner, he said.
On at least two occasions, lower courts here had rejected his bail application.
On Thursday, the matter came up before Justice A.P. Deshpande who granted him bail with conditions, Gupte said.
Shiney has been accused of raping his teenaged domestic help at his Andheri home June 14 and has been in custody since then.
Following an assurance by Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan, Shiney’s case was transferred from a sessions court to a fast-track court in Sewri where the trial is on.
“He will be required to live in New Delhi during the pendency of the trial and come to Mumbai every time there is a hearing,” Gupte told IANS.
If the charges against him are proved in the court, Shiney faces a minimum seven-year jail sentence
