Mumbai, Sept 30 (ANI): Adopting an innovative approach to promote their film, cast and crew of Bollywood's upcoming film 'Wake Up Sid' launched a line of designer t-shirts here last evening.
The film, a light hearted romantic comedy, has already generated considerable amount of curiosity amongst the people and the film makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote it amongst the masses.
'Wake Up Sid' is a story of Sidharth Mehra played by Ranbir Kapoor, an unmotivated boy from Mumbai, whose life undergoes a series of changes after taking his final year college exams.
According to the director, the film is all about the feeling of being young and lost as portrayed through the character of Sidharth.
"I would just like to say that 'Wake Up Sid' is more than a story. It's just a feeling. It's a feeling of being young, of being lost, but being too young to really know that you are lost. It's about a boy who is living in a moment without knowing what's going to happen, the next day in his life. I hope that when people go in and watch the film, they relive that feeling and feel younger," said Ayan Mukherji, director.
The film has some power packed performances by Ranbir Kapoor and Konkona Sen Sharma.
The film sees a younger Ranbir romancing a much older and serious writer, played by Konkona.
"We have made this film from heart and with lot of hard work. It is a very cool film. It's a love story," said Ranbir.
The film will be released on October 2. (ANI)
