Alleging that some fake person was impersonating her on 'Twitter' and talking to people on her behalf, Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif on Wednesday denied being a member of the social networking site.
"Katrina Kaif is not on any networking site like Facebook, Twitter, and Orkut," her publicist said in a statement issued here.
"This is to clarify to whom so ever it may concern that it is not Katrina Kaif who is talking on Twitter, its an impersonator," she said.
The statement further said the clarification was being made because the actress has been receiving calls from various media representatives wanting to know whether she has an account either on Twitter or on Facebook.
"Katrina had got a call from a director asking how the script which he discussed on Twitter. Katrina was shocked and explained to the director that she doesn't use networking sites at all," sources close to the actress said.
A similar incident happened when Katrina got a call from a studio head about another project, as discussed on Twitter, the sources said.
"The person pretending to be Katrina has been telling people how the 'Rajniti' shoot is going in Bhopal. Seems like the person is reading a lot of material that has been published," the sources said
